I am plant addict too. My husband said this summer: :"Promise me this was a last tree for this year", after I spent over 1K. But each time when I go to Home Depot to buy "just one bag of soil", my husband asks me :"How many plants you will buy today?" Never came back with empty hands and answer is always the same:"Could not to resist this cute beauty"😅

I just read below it didn't take. I wonder if instead of planting in soil you tried water. Propagating sedum in water works great.

You should get a cover for your microphone to block the wind. Between you talking so quietly and the wind blasting through the speakers i could not watch without captions. Not being mean, just my opinion. ✌️

I've rooted rose plants the same way. I suggest you not place them in the sun at all. I place my rose cuttings in potting soil as you but with rooting hormone and putting it outside in a shaded area. The sun will dry out the leafs too soon. How you know your cutting is doing fine is by lightly tugging on a leaf. I would have gotten the stem wet and rolled it in the rooting hormone and with something put a hole in the soil so when you put cutting in soil you're not disturbing the rooting hormone you added. After placing cutting in hole push dirt against the cutting to cover it all without leaving air pockets. And then water right away and place outside in an area that doesn't get direct sun. Goodluck

My rose cuttings success under sundirect. In the shed they went black and died. Maybe it's successful because I am in UK and not always sunny

To propagate peony you need to divide the root in the fall. You want at least 3 eyes on each section. Bury shallow, too deep and it won't flower. Will not bloom the first year after division

You should’ve put this in a shady location and put a clear vented dome over the plant. Usually dividing the tubers are best with at least 3-5 eyes on each rhizome.

What about doing the peel back a piece add dirt and zip lock then duck tape and after a couple weeks cut the stuff off and hopefully roots. I seen this being done with trees. Make a tree from a tree. I hope o made sense i seem tk struggle when im trying to explain.

Great job cutting the leafs in half then the plant uses all its energy in roots as opposed to making the leaves bigger I would’ve put a plastic a water bottle cut in half over the top of the plant, leaving the cap off for a little air and I probably would’ve dipped the stem in some rooting hormone first natural or store-bought
